Strangely, I'm a woman writing about this cologne. I had smelled it on a salesperson whom had left the area and I hadn't seen him until he came back through to leave. I HAVE USED THIS FOR 26 YEARS AND HAVE ALWAYS RECEIVED COMPLIMENTS FROM MANY WOMEN & "WHAT IS THAT COLOGNE" FROM MANY MEN. I FIND IT IS BEST TO USE IT A HOUR OR SO AFTER SHAVING OR WASHING MY FACE. MY LADY HAS NEVER GROWN TIRED OF IT OR FELT IT WAS TOO OVERBEARING.
